opps!

I've been so busy after the last... forever that I completely forgot about blogging! I've been busy busy busy after the last few weeks/month with school and homework and whatnot.
It's been absolutely freezing lately and I honest to God cannot wait for summer. This summer will be the best. My boyfriend and our group of friends have already made plans; sleepovers every week, going into town, conor's birthday, the zoo...
Summer of 2010 will definitely be the best so far, I think!

I get to go to my boyfriend's house tomorrow and get to meet his Mum properly and his Dad for the first time and I just discovered today that he has a pet snake... Not sure which I'm more worried about: meeting his parents officially or seeing his beast of a snake. :/ Hahah.

School was fairly good today; I had double history, double english, double maths, a free and then double physics. I'm not really liking english at the moment, though. we've just finished doing the merchant of venice which is one of shakespeares plays and i swear, if i could, i would burn every single copy of it. i hate it. i hate shakespeare. i don't see the point. i also have a bit of coursework for thursday or something on the stupid play. i really do hate you shakespeare.

but when it comes to romeo and juliet.... like, wow. that's just amazing.

ahhhhh, shopping.

Even though I had promised myself I wouldn't spend the 25 quid my auntie gave me... I ended up spending some of it. :/ I should have gone off spending money for lent, rather than trying to give up any junk food (which lasted for about an hour, if you were wondering; mega fail).

My Mum picked me up from school and we went into town into the fabulous Primark where almost everything is under a tenner. It's a lot of basic stuff, really, to be honest. And I wasn't that impressed with what they had in there this time - the last few times I've found amazing stuff.
But I ended up getting something I had wanted for ages: tracky bottom.. things. You know, like those things you find in Hollister and stuff. The nice kind. But from Primark and £4 rather than 30 odd.

So I got those and a new pair of fake Uggs and they are beaut and I am going to make sure they stay beaut, unlike my old pair which are so worn out it's not funny. So If I'm going out when it's raining or whatever, I'll be putting on the old ones.

Party At A Rich Dude's House - Ke$ha

Yesterday was the end of half term and today the beginning of what is bound to be another mind numbing term of school, hurray! Today was my first day back in months - I've been off for ages cause I've been pretty ill - and because I've missed so much school, I'm not doing as many GCSE's as I was before (not by many; by, like, 3 or something) which means I don't have to do German, hurrah!

I heard they might be getting a new school uniform for us, which I'm not too happy about. The current one is expensive enough.

My auntie also sent me £25 today. Which means I should be able to afford my weekend trip to England in March! Today was good.

You Used To Hold Me - Calvin Harris

I got my pocket money from my dad yesterday - £65, £15 for credit, the other £50 for whatever - and I went out into town today to spend it. I came home with around £8; I don't think my Mum is happy about that, but oh well!

I went to River Island which is a shop I adore but I think a lot of the things in there are fairly pricey but I bought a pair of shoes from there for £30 which wasn't too bad. I love them, so they were worth it. I was also in need of new make-up, so I went to Boots and bought New Stay Matte Foundation, New Stay Matte Dual Action Concealer and Flash Volume Mascara all Rimmel London. Mum didn't mind that so much, as it was a 3 for 2 deal thing.

The skirt I'm wearing below is also from River Island; grey top is Mum's; blue top from Atmosphere and the pearls are from River Island too, I think.
Admittedly I'm not too sure on this outfit, but what do you all think?

I Am Not A Robot - Marina and the Diamonds

My day was fairly boring. I woke up at 11 am, had a shower, spent most of the day at my Dad's house and got home about 15 minutes ago (it's currently just after midnight - I've noticed, even on my old blogger, I tended to blog at ridiculous times).

Have a picture.

I really really love this top with all my heart (and soul... haha) but it's quite itchy and covers everything it touches in fluff.

Also, having bought this months British Vogue, I have to admit I was a little disappointed about who was on the cover. Alexa Chung graced the cover this month and as much as I love her, I was hoping for someone I don't see everywhere. Last month's cover girl was Natalia Vodianova who I had never heard of before but instantly liked, purely because she looks like my ex-friends sister.

I see Alexa all the time and I do mean all the time. I see her in Heat, Hello and OK and all those other 'gossip' magazines with those rather random fashion pages inside. As much as I love her, seeing her everywhere is beginning to feel a little bit tedious.

What are your opinions on Alexa?

Also, a million thank you's to my first follower! ^_^
